Hospital Development

Please note, this information is intended for medical professionals. If you have reached this page in error, please return to the home page.

Saving lives through organ donation is dependent upon the generosity of donors and their families as well as the partnerships of the many teams and hospitals throughout Oregon, Southwest Washington, and Western Idaho. We work closely and collaboratively with hospital staff to support families through the end-of-life process, honor the decision of those who wish to become donors, and provide hope to those waiting for a life-saving transplant. We hope that you will feel confident that you have the resources available to you to recognize, refer, and support potential donors. We are committed to being available 24/7 to answer questions, offer support, and facilitate donation conversations. The resources and reference materials here are intended for hospital staff and medical professionals. If you have a patient who meets a clinical trigger for referral, are providing support to a family who is considering end-of-life options, or have any questions not answered here, please call the 24-hour Donor Referral Line at 1-800-344-8916. Thank you for your support and joining us to save lives through organ donation and transplantation!
